Brief history
The Tribune-Courier started publication as the Ontario Tribune on October 12, 1961. In June of 1967 the company started the Lexington Courier, which was published independently until both papers merged in 1969. The Madison Tribune was started in November of 1980 to serve the needs of the residents of Madison, Mifflin and Washington townships east and south of Mansfield. It merged with the T-C in 1995. The Tribune-Courier continued publishing a printed edition until 2020 when it ceased printing and became a digital publication. ©
